Another PGR Entry

PGR is on track! Michael went back to the building permit office today with my uncle and purchased the rest of the permit for the job. Intially, when he was going to do the project himself, he was going to do it in bits and pieces because of the work and time it would take. Now that Clark is involved, it will be much more efficient (and beautifully done). Afterwards, Clark went to Lowe's and loaded up on a bunch of lumber for the wall and floor and Michael met him there to pay. He also got a tankless water heater since he had a 10% off coupon. Score. We have two water heaters for our house - one for the side of the house with the kitchen and laundry and the other on the side with the bedrooms/bathrooms. The new tankless will replace the one in the garage because it's pretty ancient and, if it works like we think it will, we'll get one to replace the other water heater, too.

In a couple weeks, I'll be picking out flooring and bathroom sinks. Yay! And I'm especially excited for my cousins who will be staying with us at the end of March as they'll get to stay in that room after we have a fun night at The Kitchen!

Anyway, this whole thing will be done much sooner than expected and it will add 255sf to our house (making it 2035sf)! Great for value and resale (not that we're planning on moving any time soon). I think I'm most excited about having the laundry in a cleaner area than the garage!
