Second try is a charm!

As soon as we signed papers to accept the offer on our house last night, we turned right around and made an offer on the one we tried to get before (if you remember, it was rejected because we hadn't sold our house yet)... only $5k less. This time it was accepted! And I found out that other people had submitted offers - one person submitted twice - but they were all rejected. I guess it really was meant to be our house.
