Post Thanksgiving

Friday, December 02, 2005

We went to Salem, OR for Thanksgiving (got there the Wednesday before and left the Monday after). Had a TERRIFIC time and spent quality time with friends who had moved up there. We also spent a day in Portland and decided that it's definitely on our list of places we will consider moving. And considering I've told Michael that if he gets a great job after he graduates in Spring, we will move (as long as it's not to a farm town or something like that - though luckily jobs in his field are in cities) so I want to have some good prospects.

On the way home it either poured rain or snowed. Actually, it snowed from Ashland to Redding so it took us 12 hours to get home instead of the usual 8-9. It was fun though, especially when we got to pass all the cars that had to keep pulling over to either install or remove their snow chains. Michael was so excited that he got to drive in the snow with the Jeep. Giddy actually :o)

Maybe one of these days I'll sit down and write a real blog. Till then, sorry but this is what you get.

I know how he feels, I turn on 4WD in the rain sometimes.... which is actually not a bad idea since the back of the truck loves to kick out on turn lanes when you give it the gasola.
